The year 6 topic of looking at Everyday Fashions continues with looking at the work of a contemporary artist, Angie Lewin. The children will find out some facts about her, express their opinions of her work and compare her work to that of William Morris. They will choose one of her pieces of art to sketch and then ink, which is something they’ve not done yet. They will have a go at creating monoprints of her work and print on paper and then fabric which they will then embellish. Finally, they will reflect on their work.
